A Little About Me

Tanya Gibbons MSc, BSc (Hons) PGDip

I’m a qualified nutritional therapist with an MSc in Personalised Nutrition and a Practice Diploma from CNELM. My passion lies in supporting people who have received a diagnosis and are looking to better understand their health, rebuild confidence in their bodies, and take an active role in their wellbeing journey.

Before training in nutrition, I worked as a secondary school science teacher, where I developed a passion for helping people make sense of complex information and feel empowered to make informed choices. I now bring that same science-based, compassionate approach into my work with clients, combining nutrition and coaching skills to support meaningful, sustainable change.

Alongside my nutritional training, I am also a qualified NLP practitioner, and I draw on my coaching experience to help clients build supportive mindsets and create lasting behavioural change.

My journey into nutritional therapy began after a severe systemic infection left me seriously unwell and told I would likely spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair. Determined to find another path, I explored nutrition, lifestyle changes, and complementary approaches to support my recovery. Today, I am able to walk, cycle, and enjoy water sports again , an experience that continues to inspire my mission to help others take an active role in their health.

Having experienced fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome firsthand, I understand the challenges of living with chronic illness, fatigue, pain, and often feeling unheard. These experiences have strengthened my belief in taking a holistic approach to health and exploring ways to support wellbeing alongside conventional care.

My mission is to support those who feel there must be another way forward — offering guidance, education, and personalised support so they can better understand their bodies and take positive, sustainable steps towards improving their quality of life.
